About the data. Complaint records are real consumer complaints from the
FCC Consumer Complaints public dataset (opendata.fcc.gov), refreshed from source; complaint counts are
allegations, not adjudicated violations. Call detail records in a matter are the client's own records,
uploaded or obtained under the client's written authorization; they are CPNI-protected and are visible
only to the attorney who owns the matter. Any sample ledger shown outside a matter is modeled data and is
labeled as such. Statutory figures reflect 47 U.S.C. §227(b)(3) ($500–$1,500 per violation) and the
applicable state statute, applied to the calls in the record. Nothing on this site is legal advice or a
